Both of those look ******* terrible. Kraft macaroni and cheese out of the box looks way better than that.
Im not a mac and cheese guy but **** those are just bad

A well made mac&cheese can be very good. I have a recipe that includes topping it with panko that's been crisped with olive oil and butter. So good.

And then there's the typical M&C made by the Honey Boo Boo crowd and we get the above.

Have you ever tried to make it? It's deceptively harder to make than one would think.

Cacio e pepe is made with pecorino.
What's the one where you put it in a wheel of parm? Either way I had C e P like 4 times in Rome.

I believe that technique (usually with some flambe going on as well) is called “della forma” and is not specific to any one dish as far as I know.

I made “bad” cacio e pepe all the time and it’s still delicious. That’s all I meant.
