Just the bar and plates, no squat or bench racks. Since i do have the plates, I’m able to keep doing it at home

Yeah im not a lineman in football so there's no need for me to be able to push things off my chest. But the deadlift? Come on,man. that works virtually every muscle and picking things up is about as functional as you can get for strength training.Deadlifts and benchpresses are great training for doing deadlifts and benchpresses.
I don't care about being big. I have such a slender frame even when I bulk up I still look thin which is fine with me because I was so fat for so long. But having good musculature is generally good overall for your health. Keep rowing and you're going to bulk up too.Thing is with me, I don't give a **** about big muscles. I just want heart health. Apparently here all you guys just want to deadlift and get muscular butts. Makes sense.
