I was talking with my fourth grade daughter this morning and I mentioned that when I was her age, I walked to school (it was about a 15 minute walk, not even uphill, so not one of those parental horror stories). She looked at me, then with complete seriousness and sincerity, said, "but dad, we have cars now."

**** you, kid. I'm using your college find to buy myself a Patek.
Move to Georgia and in-state tuition can be free thanks to the HOPE Scholarship.

Then again,it's probably a tall order expecting your offspring to maintain a B average.

As I "sat down" to do important research about my upcoming day, I brought up the weather because it was supposed to be another blazer here today.
But, the weather said high of 72, and I'm like, Saweeet.
Then I remembered I did an OS update yesterday and the phone was still apparently catching up, because my location was listed as "north pacific ocean".
It's going to be 92 today...

My locally-sourced, custom, handcrafted (dare I say artisanal?), decidedly small batch and very high-tech new gas grill was supposed to be delivered next week but they've found a fault in a key component (thermocouple and under-hood lighting circuit) from a supplier and are now pausing production of the particular model until October while it's rectified.

This is -- and I do want to steer clear of exaggeration -- the worst thing that's ever happened to anyone ever.

real men use hand cut, hand charred coals.
Real men find a piece of land plant a seed and say: in 10 years i will chop you down and turn you in to charcoal. Then 48 hours after that when you have fully cooled off i will decide what I will cook.

Link to the company? Steve raichlen made a beef shoulder on one of those open fire outdoor roasters. Really enjoying grill Appreciation.
