Well we have lots of cloudcover due to rain all PM so only 90 with 85% humidity to feel like 96 or so.

Usual weather here -- low 60, high 80, severe fire danger.

:hide:

Buddy in SoCal had to bug out this morning under mandatory evacuation order from the Lake Fire.

Random story: I went to school with a guy from Laredo whose middle name was Jesús, which I'm told is common among that particular type of not-real-Americans. For his birthday one year, we threw a sizeable party and passed out flyers on campus that said, "Do you love Jesus? Then come to his birthday party!" The administration eventually ran us off for proselytizing without permission.

Anyway, my point here is that I'm friends with Jesus, and he's from Laredo.

proselytizing without permission.

It's weird that we know exactly what they were thinking and yet, at the same time, this offense is wonderfully dystopian, authoritarian and arbitrary.

My friend’s father in-law is named Jesus. Jesus is very much involved in the lives of his son in law, grandkids, and only daughter.

naturally we call his visits to his in-laws the “come to Jesus moments”.

"Since it's release nearly three decades ago, Jurassic Park..." oh you can just **** right off acting like the early 90s happened a long time ago.
