A nice example of a vintage watch that I have been thinking about for awhile shows up on a well-known internet seller's website. The price is reasonable and it sells by the next day. Today the exact same watch--I checked the distinctive markings in the photographs--shows up on the website of another well-known internet seller's website with an increased price of more than $2,000. :censored: The second seller has added nothing of value to justify this added cost. I bought for him before and he's a good guy, but still . . .

i receive a text notification from a well-known vendor that a soda maker that has been out of stock for awhile is back in stock. I go to the website five minutes later to buy and it is already out of stock.

Truly the travails of Ambulance Chaser are insurmountable.

So earlier in the summer I had had my heart set on a pastel-type green shirt to go along with my southern preppy wardrobe (big on bright colors, basically). Eventually got one made by Ratio and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. But I don't know that I really want to wear such a shirt now. :(
