Looking at my calendar and I feel like I've just entered the Twilight Zone. Friday doesn't have a single conference call let alone a day filled with simultaneous and/or overlapping ones. I'm sure this mess will all be straightened out by Friday morning though and various drones will have some scheduled.

No, my meetings on Friday are a plot against me. They start early and are mostly just ***** sessions from other teams that are in no way productive.

You can get the most out of a meeting by stating early, I have 10 minutes before I have to jump on an urgent issue. Then you have your action items or ask to be included on the minutes from the meeting.

A few weeks ago, I very kindly, politely, and with more than a few disclaimers... basically told the divisional president only an idiot waits until 4p on a Friday to roll out P&P that needs to be implemented as soon as the conference call ends. There was another similar call at 9p the following Tuesday and he made a comment along the line of, "It was brought to my attention we would meet more success with changes to meet the COVID virus if we at corporate worked on getting things out to the field earlier in the week..."

It's a good thing I don't want a promotion and hope to just coast to a retirement that will be a few years earlier thanks to the money here at the WENUS factory.
