Do you guys wash your groceries you get from the store? I'm going insane trying to wash everything and I might be overthinking all of this into oblivion. Also I read so many different things about how long this **** survives for on surfaces. A few hours to 9 days. Wtf, I am going insane.

Right before I eat my fruit, I give them a rinse. That's about it. Everything else is prepackaged and needs to be microwaved.

I am not washing anything more than I previously did. To appease the wife, I just leave things in bags for a couple of days unless it is fresh produce or something.

I will say the past 3 months, strawberries have bothered the hell out of me. I started soaking and scrubbing them...little things are dirty as hell. I also realize other foods are just as dirty which I do nothing about.

I just see these guys wearing gloves stocking shelves and such. What if these people stock the shelves are coughing into their hands and then stocking shelves. I'm going bonkers thinking of all of this cross contamination. Google articles say that you don't really have to wash everything you buy, but my mind runs a bit wild. I was soaping up bags of greens and containers of feta and such like a nut. Is it not worth it?

I’m not going crazy on this stuff. My protocol is all over the board, frankly. I wipe down liquor/wine/water bottles with disinfecting wipes. I unpack boxes (Amazon, etc) and immediately dispose of the box and wash my hands. By not going really crazy on the other stuff.

If I die, you’ll know that approach didn’t work I suppose.
