i was always ambivalent about kobe (i grew up in la during the 80s showtime era and kobe always seemed brattier than magic johnson). but i was still totally stunned by the news, and i had to watch for a while just to confirm that i was really seeing what i was seeing.

the world is really, really ******* weird. magic johnson is healthy and kobe is dead.
