Because there was no union rep to supervise?
Union reps don't supervise. I think that it should be obvious that it would be contrary to the purpose of either job.

That comment about the Hill Country baffled me, but my knowledge of the place comes via a friend who bought a ranch that was formerly part of LBJ’s property. They have a sculpture gallery. I have trouble picturing poverty and misery there.

I wouldn’t even know where to get one. After the death of Blockbuster and their ilk, and Netflix going full streaming...idk. There were dvd vending machines at Publix for awhile but even those disappeared.

I'm only half with you on that. There's quite a few titles not on streaming so having the Netflix DVD option is still valid. But physically going to a store to rent a DVD?

There's a movie rental place in Atlanta but it's still doing well because they have lots of Blu-Ray and other obscure films. And it's the place where you go: "I am trying to get in to 1970s Bulgarian sci-fi do you have anything" "Here let me show you these three movies and while you are at it it seems like Director McDirectorson would fill your interest in 35-mm films shot on 60s-era Bauer cameras using...."

Hopefully indoor plumbing isn't far behind. Your outhouse isn't rustic, it's disgusting.

Fake ass hipsters...blu-Ray is way too new to exert proper anachronistic superiority. Can’t settle for anything less than Betamax, although 8mm is preferable

I'm a hipster. I buy expensive vinyl records. I would buy laserdiscs too if new releases were produced.

On a similar note...I tried to add an At the Drive In song to my ski playlist yesterday and it seems like that whole album isn't on Google Play Music.

Google lets you upload your own stuff so I can solve that, but I don't have the MP3 in my collection so I'd have to either pirate it or buy the CD and rip it (don't think I can just buy the song because you can't upload DRMed tracks to Google).
