Thanks guys. One of the silver linings in this situation is that I'm more aware of how I spend my time and have been reshuffling the priorities, particularly where idle time is concerned. Last night we went to dinner and then hung around in a bookstore - and where I might ordinarily browse through books that I don't need and have no intention of buying, instead I played with baby girl.

In retrospect, these last six months have been a blur.

When I first moved into this joint, way back in 06, I brought down a balance ball and mat for the gym to use. So, logically, when I moved out, I took it with me. Today, when I come back to visit the person I take care of, and do a little cleaning, I get the ******* cops and condo board president banging on my door. Apparently, they have me on camera stealing the items. It seems that you can steal back things you already own. Now I have to go to the new place and get them back and fork them over because I have no proof of ownership. Of course I don't. They're around 6 years old for ***** sake. Since there have been 10 different property managers through here since I moved in, no records have been kept. I barely got out without getting put in handcuffs. This is unbelievable.

Well I would need a receipt showing purchase of the ball and mat. But who keeps $25 purchase receipts from 5 years ago? Its ridiculous. They're just trying to **** me as hard as they can.

I had to do hire a pilot to fly me at low altitude (<100') over the Yellowstone and Upper Missouri Rivers for a job I had once. He showed up and I thought he caught a whiff of alcohol. As we were crammed in the cabin of his little Cesna, I was sure it was alcohol, whiskey in fact. Pretty scary.

I used to go into Montenegro on a regular basis - each and every time I was there, the taxi drivers stunk of alcohol. I used to walk up and down the line smelling them, trying to figure out who was the least drunk

The house I grew up in is for sale and the current owners have added a tacky addition and all kinds of hideous ****, while neglecting all the once immaculate landscaping. It's a shell of its former self. It feels like they raped my childhood.
