Congratulations, it’s a highly contagious virus!

IMG_0216.jpeg

My symptoms started with a persistent cough on Thursday, getting annoying while taking the kids out trick or treating. The worst of it was late Friday, prompting me to go to bed just after 8:00. It’s almost gone now, with just a lingering cough.

I didn’t test until today, because the wife just started feeling off.

The important thing is we need to get the fluoride out of the water.

Attempting to pinpoint the exact moment to purchase a round-trip plane ticket for the lowest possible fare and failing miserably. I had a very good price two weeks ago and stupidly decided to get greedy and wait to see if the price would drop further. Now the fare is considerably higher and moving up and down every day, sometime hour to hour. :brick:

Welcome to the club! Mine seems to have progressed on basically the same schedule as yours. I've been shuffled away to my den away from my wife and kids since the onset of symptoms so hopefully they'll all stay untouched.

I recently switched of USAA to Progressive which USAA uses for products they don't cover (e.g. motorcycles). My rates went down >40%. USAA had been jacking up both home and auto for years now (I guess Gronk needed to get paid).

I've also found their customer service hasn't been as good as before - not bad but not far and above everyone else.

They've been under a federal consent order, had some big fines to pay, had to make up for a higher cost of funds.

I’m convinced that they track you via cookies and jack up the fare of the route you’ve been browsing. It’s gotten to a point where I ask someone else to search the fares for me if I’m not yet ready to book. I once used a work computer, logged on via VPN, to browse Delta fares without logging into my sky miles account.

The same evening I got an email from delta asking if I was still interested in going to Bangkok…fukkers

(And for the record, im always interested in going to bang kok jejeje)

If USAA (who I switched to) has been price gouging, then I have been getting good and properly fawked by Allstate.

When we bought our first house, our closer though there was a typo on insurance it was so low.

Since we moved to NC, it has just kept creeping up double digit a year.

I can recommend "Going" which used to be Scott's Cheap Airfare.
You can use it for free, or subscribe to filter down alerts to your choice of airports and destinations.
I got $454 roundtrip non-stop from LAX to Rome.

First Class, or we never speak again?
Two things...
I ended up spending a little more to switch to Alitalia, and I upgraded to bidness on the way home. Still was a great deal.
But that stupid cheap fare was available.
I'm sometimes willing to suffer a little on the flights, and have more coke money on the trip.
Non-stop is a must though.
