Fun fact! The first game I went to for my HS football team was last year only because they had made state quarter finals and it was near my house.
AND I ONLY WATCHED FOR ABOUT SEVEN MINUTES AND I ONLY WATCHED BECAUSE I OPENED YOUTUBE TV AND IT WAS RIGHT THERE (Georgia has a big HS kickoff tournament and to play in it is a big deal).

I watched my HS play a football game on TV one year because they made it all the way to the state championship game.

The Texas state championship games used to be broadcast on on Fox Sports back in the day so it was easy to find. Not sure if they still are now though.

My oldest is in marching band this year so I foresee a bunch of high school football games in my future. I've told my wife I'm going to become one of those embarrassing band booster parents but she doesn't believe me. Just wait until I break out the t-shirt, cap, knit hat, and sweatshirt with the school colors and emblem I bought for that first game!
