Overnighting in the Bass Pro Shops pyramid, so that's one more thing off my bucket list.

I went into a Bass Pro Shop once looking for fishing line. The place was so over the top I just turned around after less than a minute.

Been back on the water for the past month. No good food, no puppies, no ****...🫥

Oh, I think I need to take a massive pay cut for a land-based job. Though, I also feel way to deep into what I've been doing. It's like all my achievements and credentials are so niche and my experience so specific, I feel it's difficult to apply it elsewhere. I really just want the simple things in life.

I still remember that day in 2nd grade and yep, we just went on with the rest of the day as if nothing was amiss.

I don't remember much from that day but Christa McAuliffe, the teacher who won a seat on the Challenger for NASA's Teacher in Space program was from a town about an hour from us.

I was listening to it on the radio in my car on my lunch break. When I returned, I had the sad duty of informing the people at work. Pre-internet, people didn't follow the news all day at work.

They actually had to work instead of sh1tpost during the day.
Yes, working conditions were primitive back in the mesolithic. But I have to correct myself. The internet actually did exist by then, just not the WWW.

I had an early email adress back then, before [email protected] addresses were available. I was backboneserver!someserver!someotherserver!localhost!moe. We had to specify most of the intermediate UUCP routing servers in the email address or it would get lost. Shitposting was restricted to early Usenet (before the Great Re-Naming). Now all you youngsters get off my LAN!
