Speaking of public sh!tting, looks like the Spurs want taxpayers in one of the poorest cities in America to give them a billion dollars
The Spurs are willing to foot a fifth of the cost? How generous. Sports teams often describe these attempted stickups in terms of a "partnership" with the target community. Very well. In a partnership partners share in the profits. Somehow teams overlook that aspect.

try being a sports fan in Oakland

A professional org I am a member of just announced that their 2025 annual conference will be in Sacramento. I'm already looking forward to going to an Oakland Las Vegas Sacramento Athletics game while I'm out there! 🤣

in our house everybody's bedrooms are at the end of the hallway which means there is a spot in front of my bedroom door where I can hear at least 3 white noise machines going at once . it feels like this :

Dr called with my blood work. I can rule out gout since my uric acid levels were normal. He did say that my creatinine levels are elevated and should come back in a week to do another blood test to see if it goes back down.

I had something very similar last year, massive pain in the ball of my foot that made it hard to walk. They thought gout, ran test and couldn't find elevated uric levels and the pain subsided. Never had a clear diagnosis.
