Its a long story and if anyone wants to know it I'll type it all out. The short version is that here in Florida the state laws give a tremendous amount of power to condo HOA's. So much so that the HOA board of the building I'm living in has amended the documents with a clause saying that if the board believes the tenant is "not acting/will not act in the best interests of the community" they may reject that tenants lease or lease renewal despite what the tenant wants. They are pulling this shit with me at the moment and I'm not sure I'll be able to fight it. Good luck, seriously.
