I am going to have to put down my 9 month old puppy because there is something wrong with his mind that we can't control.

I am trying to find a no kill shelter but I don't know. I am dying.

I am murdering someone. I can't stop cymruo g. I love him so much. But he isn't happy like this and it is destroying us. Help me.

As I just said in the COVID thread, toddler comes rushing into the room and increases his acting out behaviors until he garners a response from the adults in the room. Just ignore him, and like a toddler not getting the response desired, he'll eventually take a nap.
Have some empathy.

Dat feeling when you're logged onto your Zoom meeting wondering, "WTF is everyone else?" then notice it's same day, same time, but next week.

:embar:
I had a colleague that would consistently use the wrong link to Teams meetings. He’d start texting the team at the appointed time asking where everyone is because he’s sitting in a virtual room alone ?.

2 weeks ago, we have our usual Monday morning sales/Zoom meeting. The call details are the same every week. The exact same!

-Every week, the outside sales consultant will call/text/e-mail me, what are the credentials?
-2 weeks ago, the new sales rep calls me and asks if we are having a sales meeting. Huh? Look at your ******* calendar.
-Consultant is on at 10:53. Call starts at 11. I start to get calls asking where everyone is. I ignore.
-I jump on at 10:59.
-Consultant starts to ask me where the rest of the people on the call are. He starts to say..."why don't YOU give them a call"....
-I stop him. I say...."Why don't I give them a call?"
-He says...I guess I can call them.
-You bet you can!
-New sales rep walks in at 11:03. I say on the call......XYZ just came in, she should be on shortly.
-She has trouble jumping on the call. She finally does at around 11:13. 15 min into the call, she goes dark(I believe her laptop was not charged.)
-Consultant is asking...what happened to XYZ? I am basically ignoring him. What does he do? He calls ME!
-I ignore. He finally reaches XYZ at the same time that boss walked to her office and asks for a word. She hangs up on consultant.
-What happens? He calls me. This time I pick up.
-Consultant: "I was just on with XYZ and then I hear her talking to someone else and then the line goes dead."
-I am listening to him while reading the local news online. I DON'T CARE! CALL HER!

(Full disclosure: I have no children in real life. At work, I baby sit/have to parent/keep track of/manage a bunch of adult children.)

I used to get really jibbeldy, but not as much anymore. I just focus on getting by the day and then the week! Not gonna **** up my weekend!

I have been following your stories closely, and I enjoy reading them. But I struggle to understand your position in the power structure at the company.

The new marketing lady seems to think you are some sort of secretary (Sorry, executive assistant) based on her coming with those phone numbers the other day. But you put the consultant in his place very quickly in this story. All in all, this seems FUBAR

Not an admin asst at all. I have a pretty good rank/standing at the firm. Upper level.

It's just that my office is somewhat near to the others and they really can't figure ANYTHING out on their own. ANY-*******-THING!

I was walking by the new sales rep's office earlier this week..or maybe last week...and she asks me..."What is boss's aka president's e-mail address?"

THE FLYING ****? She has well over a month in. How do you not know this/can't figure it out?

Well she just learned how to use a phone. You can't expect her to know how to use the lookup feature in outlook if she didn't know how to use a phone.

I once had a private chat with my friend/employer. He was telling me about the girl who he was promoting to oversee the managers.
He said "because I know you didn't want it"...
We then fist bumped. No thanks.
