This is one of those stories that are too good to be true but I also don't want it to be wrong.
When I lived in Laguna Beach, my asshole roommate let my cat out, at night.
The house is on the side of a hill, and I'm sitting out back in total darkness chucking cat food towards the bushes calling his name.
I hear a crunch crunch, shadow coming closer, eyes reflecting light and I'm all relieved.
Then I realized it was a pack of raccoons.
( I did eventually find him alive and well )
The reaction score is misleading because it doesn't (and can't, really) separate positive responses from negative ones. At least that's what I tell myself.I just realized we can now see our "reaction score" and I am very self conscious about my post-to-score ratio.
No, this will not cause me to reflect on what and how I post, either.

Thumbs up increased yours.I just gave you a sad face, and your score didn't go up.
Thumbs up increased yours.
Wow, this is fun. I never noticed that either @edinatlanta. It's like the kill:death ratio my kid told me about in call of duty.
Yeah but look at Patrick B's...so obviously this thing doesn't work. And @edinatlanta has one of the worst K: D, so all is right in the universe.
Oh Honey, just look at mine. You'll feel much better. Of course my first 10,000 posts were pre-reaction.I just realized we can now see our "reaction score" and I am very self conscious about my post-to-score ratio.
My parents would be so proud.Yeah but look at Patrick B's...so obviously this thing doesn't work.
