The guys who bought the house next door to a duplex I own put in an application to convert it to a daycare for 62 kids! They still have to be approved for a minor variance in building code and the whole neighorhood is mobilizing to oppose the proposal but I doubt it will matter. It's on a side street with lots of traffic already so having 50 more cars dropping off and picking up kids during rush hour will be a nightmare. This is bad news for property values. And the old lady who lives on the main floor, and is the best tenant I've ever had, is quite upset about this. If she leaves, it's gonna cost me Tell the guys who want to run a daycare center that you're planning on renting your unit to a registered sex offender. Problem solved.
