He lives in my 10 year old's room, and she loves him. She will pull him out of his massive cage and she pulls him out so he can sit on her lap while she is in her hammock chair. She even made him a foam bed. Out of the cage he likes to run around. He doesn't lap sit like a dog or cat. They take baths in volcanic ash.

Has anyone stopped to ponder just how weird this post is? Like the non-sequitor sentence at the end... and it includes volcanic ash? A hammock chair? Responsible children? Bear possibly being loving/loved?

The only good thing about being nervous is all of the colonic cleansing that happens leading up to the event.

Whenever I have heard somebody literally ask our CEO that I wonder how they aren't fired on the spot.

Our executives have decided they need more round tables with the common man, and I just can't believe the stupid questions people ask. I lost count of how many times people asked the execs when they think COVID will be over as if a VP at a tech company knows better than any of the experts. Or naturally with the recent layoffs, all the questions are about that.

Our company is pretty good at that, and by and large it’s a good thing, so the execs stay connected to the employee base and people get a sense of how they think about stuff and....what keeps them up at night.

they’ve increased the frequency during quarantine, which I think has been a generally good idea. But yes, that means you have to sit through a barrage of stupid questions. My fave is that one person always asks what acquisitions we are planning....so basically panelists are baited every single time into an SEC violation

I remember we had these roundtables with SVP's, basically the few people who report right to the CEO. Most of the comments were older employees complaining about vacation and sick policies. One particular roundtable was with the President of a subsidiary. This was around the time the company decided to make some holidays "floating". Basically you have the choice to work that day, or use it at another time. Easy right? No, the president had to sit there listening to this old bag ***** about how she always has a day with her sisters at the beach on that day and now she will have to reschedule. It was an hour for her to understand that she can sit go to the beach with her sisters. I wanted to do the poor guy a favor and put him out of his misery and then myself.

At our shareholder's meeting there is this old guy who always asks where we think interest rates are heading since we are so in the business of "borrowing money". I also get a kick out of that.
