In one of those moods today. I don't have time to go to the gym, I have to do laundry, and I have a lot of homework. And I'm waiting on a big decision and it's really making me anxious.

    Just a lame day.

Is this relating to your fellowship?

Yes. I'm still confident, it's just the wait that's making me [IMG]

God damn overdraft fees. Thanks to my new job, my back rent debt has dwindled. At the same time bank account is minimal until I get caught up on that.

I dropped off a check for $500 at the landlord's office Friday night. I checked my bank account Monday morning and saw I only had $385 in checking. I hadn't gotten my paycheck because I had Friday off, so they mailed it to me. I also had my car insurance due soon, so I transferred enough from my savings to cover both the check and the car insurance payment.

I checked my account a few minutes ago and while the car insurance hasn't been taken out yet, my absurd $155 Consumer's Energy bill from January was. I had forgotten about that one. Naturally, my landlord waited until today to try and cash the check and thus, it bounced. If he had tried it Monday or yesterday, it would've cleared.

So that means I got a $25 overdraft fee from the bank and I'll owe my landlord $25 for the return check.

Maybe if you stopped listening to depressing music it might do something.

Indeed. Done my time here and have got out of it what I needed. Nowhere to go from here except onward and upward (and out).

Therein lies the riddle: Where to go next and how to optimize my skills (and which new ones to acquire) to no less than double what I'm making now . . . and at my age . . . ?

(And thanks to Fashionista for the ant & grasshopper metaphor and for catalyzing my discontent by pointing out that I deserve better than what I'm doing.)

Find out who is going to handle the class action lawsuit against Toyota... (would suggest Congress but you've probably been out of the country too long to get security clearance)... after all there are going to be a lot of J-documents that need translating/sifting through... so said "The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (having) demanded a massive volume of Toyota documents, including engineering reports, internal communications and customer complaints..." http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...,6930609.story Just an idea from conspiracy corner - tis the interwebs after all. oh and put a shirt on please. This is SF, apparently.
