Keep telling yourself that. I hope it's not a G-series or a FX-series. I might have to put you on the DNW douchelist.

I fucking hate the exhaust notes of Infiniti vehicles. They sound like douchebags of the car world.

Agreed. The G35 coupe is the loud striped shirt of the car world.

A bit better than yesterday, all day vomiting for
The constant commas in vaclava krishna's comments. Which I truely believe he does just to irritate us.

I never post in this thread. Anyway.

Stores that won't take my moneyz [IMG]

I went to a small-timer store today, and went to swipe my (Brooks Brothers) Mastercard. Gotta get those Brooks Buy points, right?

Sorry, we only take debit from Mastercard.

Ok, so I shuffled thru my pockets, found a handful of bills, but not enough to add up to my total. [IMG]

Apparently "I don't guess you take American Express either do you?" was not the right thing to say [IMG]

Later I went to another store, and they had a sign up that they didn't accept bills over $20, but that credit and debit were accepted.

Why can't all these "merchants" just take my moneyz [IMG]

I think they were attempting to dodge Mastercard's credit fees by only taking debit? [IMG]

I'm in training all day, and this class is particularly soul crushing.

    Training for what?

Project management. My favorite words/phrases of the day:

    360 review
    face time
    work package
    huddle (meaning meeting)
Work Breakdown Structure (capitalized, possibly copyrighted)
    decision gate
    root cause
    managing change
decompose (used as an active verb, much like deconstruct)
    earned value
use of timely as an adverb (e.g., It will be essential that all stakeholders timely identify issues as they arise)
    process group

Every once in awhile I consider getting an MBA. It's this bullshit 24/7, right?

Thanks, basically some shit that I thought might become a small issue totally exploded on Saturday. I think a lot of it was dealt with yesterday and things will be ok, but it's a bit of an "only time will tell" now.

The scary part is that it has become a situation which could make my entire life take a hard left turn very quickly...

Just catching up on the thread: good luck with this.

Self evaluations, especially the question "what would you do differently next time" when you've achieved the desired results from a project.

A town I drive through every day is being repaved. There are no easy ways to avoid this, and it is adding an hour to my drive.
