I think it's because one piece was 4' so they took it from an old spool that only had a few feet on it. Not many people buying short lengths of 10mm low-stretch rope.

Most apple sauce or pie recipes call for peeling the apples used therein.


Never made applesauce, but pie always has the peel on.


Did front squats for the first time in months today and my shoulder hurts like hell right now.

Eaten my share of apple pies and seen many, many more. Never noticed a peel.

Every apple pie I've ever bought has no peel. I make apple pies with peels, but again that's only cause I don't have patience for peeling.

Always where? I've seen/eaten probably a hundred or more apple pies in my life and never once had one with the the peel on. I find it strange you believe they always have the peel.

I'm European I only know how my mother etc makes them, not how they are made a cost co.


I've never been to a costco in my life. Too poor in my childhood, too rich in my adulthood.

Still find it pointless to peel them, a bit like wrapping fruit in plastic.

And it tastes fine with the peel
