1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Boggles my mind that we have inbox size limits in 2016.

    Fuck email.

All business inquiries should be made via snapchat. 5 second timer.

What is worse is the 5mb size limit on mails most accounts have.

I think he's talking about individual emails. A lot of places have limits to the size of an individual email. My current employer doesn't, but my last employer was about 5MB, otherwise you needed to upload a file and send them a link.

I think GF knows that...but 5mb is still low.

Lowest I remember dealing with in the past few years was a client that couldn't accept over 10mb...

I had someone with a 5mb limit recently, it's completely ridiculously low, 50mb should be the norm.

I send large PDF's everyday and I've given up and just dropbox link the files.

The problem with links is that you can lose the files.
If you send me something and I need to find it 6 months later after the link has expired...what do I do?

Hopefully I saved it, but often those file hosting site links don't give you a hint as to what the file was named. So what was the name of the file?

When it is in an email, I have the record right there. Maybe I did save it and work from it elsewhere, but I can find the exact source file you sent me.

Today I learned that if some dude steals the dryer after you claimed it, you can pee on his wet clothes and a fabric softener sheet will completely mask the smell of urine.

I am currently hibbeldy because the water main broke over the weekend and now there's weird white particulate matter in the water, and it smokes if you let it sit.

Completely agree. Again using my previous employer, the links expired after 10 days or something like that. Regularly I'd email a group of people to send the file, and always there was one who didn't download the file before it expired.

so if you let the water dry there are minerals left behind? sometimes my water seems to get finely aerated somehow and will look a little cloudy but i've never seen that shit smoke...

Yeah, that is annoying as hell, but when you can't send a 40mb file or 1gb worth of files, which I sometimes get, you have to do it the other way round.

No, like, within a few seconds. There's little tiny white bubbles (or solids, even worse) and they clear up and white smoke gets produced.

Making me nervous. I'm going to find out some asshole dumped uranium down the drain again. Which, uh, is a possibility around here.
