1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I think it's interesting that they made the Rams "Color Rush" uniforms yellow, even though they've being wearing gold for a long time now. They never should have changed to gold in the first place, IMO. That said, this uniform looks awful.

Facebook sucks. I'm not really using it right now, but I need to keep my account active for professional reasons. All the political crap getting reposted :brick:

I post political views on Facebook quite frequently, but I do so in the form of parables relating to chili. For example, I recently posted this: "A chili is improved by 11% chocolate sprinkle. But many are unable to recognize this fact because their views are blinkered by the chili traditions of their forefathers." What I meant was that we should not exclude people from the American dream based on race or creed.

I fell down a Internet rabbit hole about Radon Gas levels in your home last night.

the first house had super low levels and I still ended up putting a mitigation system in (for resale value if ever, and just to be safe) and I researched and knew all the arguments.

What pisses me off is before you know it I'm voraciously reading (and sadly  re-reading ) city-data threaks full of usual nut jobs arguing both sides until 3am.

Online ticketing for concerts. How much will all of these Bruce tickets show up for on Stubhub tomorrow?

My basement came in at 4.5 pCi/L but I haven't bothered to do anything about it yet. Too many other first year projects. Hopefully I don't get the lungs cancer.

Just unfollow the people reposting political stuff. OR select "hide post" over time you'll see less annoying shit. My facebook is pretty well curated so I actually do not mind using it.
