Sad stories all around today. I'm sorry to hear it.

I think in a lot of these cases the people who seem to have it all together only appear that way because they're so good at pushing through it without showing how much it's wearing on them. I think I'm one of those people, at least to some extent, and I know I've been there before: Things are stressful or hard, but people still give me the "I can't believe you're dealing with xxxxx. I'd never know you having such a tough go of it." It can be a terrible, lonely place to be. Now, extrapolate that out to someone who is really good a putting up a good front in the face of hardship, and you have a person who might appear to be doing great while they're really coming apart on the inside.

No idea if that's really the case, but it's what I suspect.

Why not exhaust a few other options first? Move to another country, take up a different job, ect. Life goes by pretty rapidly as it is.

Yea...I'm getting married sunday and it was supposed to be outdoors. Arranging for the "plan B" has been a nightmare and my fiancée is on my last nerve.

Trust me when I say that these can be an good things - arranging the plan B and weather. We were supposed to get married outside until tornadoes were touching down a few hours before the ceremony. We had to scramble to relocate. Luckily, the hotel where we were getting ready was very nice and let us get married in their lobby/library/dining room which created a really cool backdrop.

Also, Mazel Tov.

Is it time to pass an international law that queue jumpers are legally allowed to be punched in the face by everyone behind them?

I discovered that my friend has two pee holes. I don't know how I feel about him anymore.

I have to go to a house party (I hate house parties) on saturday and I plan on bringing wine for myself to drink. Judging by whose house this is I suspect she doesn't have any stemware. I might buy some to bring over and drink my wine out of. This way if I ever return to this house I will have stemware waiting for me.
