I'm closing on a house tomorrow. Getting all the utility stuff taken care of, call up the electrical company. "We're not processing any service requests until Jan 7. Call us back then and we can schedule you to get your service started." Just....what? I'm supposed to go without electricity for TWO WEEKS because these idiots are upgrading their computer system and have no possible way to turn on my damn power?

edit: and as expected, called back and got a different rep and they made it happen in five minutes.

That ruins the sensory experience, and also introduced toxins into your mouth from heating up plastic.

I agree with Ed. Diet Dr. Pepper is pretty awesome. Nothing comes closet Coke Zero from the fountain with lots of ice with no lid and no straw.

Diet Dr Pepper is awesome, but Ed likes the Cherry version which is just weird. Too much going on.

Sometimes I agree which is why I do a Dr. Pepper 10 every now and again.

    You would.

Dr. Pepper is far better than any diet version. I miss cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, but some of those coke machines at restaurants allow you to mix it.

I've been cutting out soda in my life and drinking water instead. Feels so wrong when I'm eating pizza, but whateva!

My favorite soda is from this small company called Maine Root. I've only seen it in two places as fountain drinks in my entire life: Torchy's Tacos in Texas and this hamburger joint in Boston.

The best flavor is the black cherry sweetened with real sugar.

Try some Pellegrino. It goes very well with food and you don't feel like you're having just "water." Toss a slice or two of lime or lemon in it and it's awesome.

I never enjoyed Pellegrino or any of the carbonated water varieties.. it just feels "off" when there's no sweetness to it. Sorta how diet-anything tastes like shit to me because of how artificial the sweetness is. Yuck.

Maybe carbonated water is an acquired taste.. but I'll stick to plain water for now.

GreenFrog is the #1 poster of the day thus far. This is upsetting. Back in my day it was Manton or a drunken attorney.

Vichy Catalan is my favorite sparkling water. Am sure greenfrog would hate it since it doesn't taste like a children's beverage

I don't like the word "veggies" just seems like an word that is for children to say.
