1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'm taking all the heat for an issue that a client has where they are 100% at fault but will not admit it.

And no, this is not us being in denial. It truly is their fuck up and theyre getting all pissy at me.

How do I politely allude that we fulfilled our end of the bargain and that they were just sloppy on their end?

    Serious replies pls.

The women in my class hounded me because I responded, "It's just a dog" when they weNASA used animals during the early comm satellite launches..

How deranged one must be to place animals in a higher esteem than humans..

Cop kills black Staten Island guy, coroner rules death a homicide, cop doesn't get indicted.

They shut down both sides of the West Side Highway last night.

Sometimes part of being a consultant is taking the blame when things fuck up on the client side. Suck it up.

I hold my cats in much higher esteem than I hold you. If a situation came up where I had to pick between harm to my cats or your death my cats would get chosen.

I also piss people off by remarking, "It's just a dog." But that's usually in the context of explaining the contents of my lunch.

You realize homicide just means death cause by a person, not murder, right? Shooting someone that is swinging an axe at your head is homicide. A soldier shooting another soldier in war is homicide. Etc. It is not an OK/not OK judgement.

I don't mean to negate your larger argument, but I've noticed that even the press (which should know what words mean) has been emphasizing "ruled a homicide" as if to mean that such a ruling is a judgement of fault.

Mrs. Piob has always maintained the reason you know cats are inedible is because none of her relatives have a recipe for cat. Black dogs are apparently a thing amongst Filipinos in Hawaii though.

Yeah but what I was pointing out is that "Cop kills black Staten Island guy" makes "coroner rules death a homicide" redundant (unless part 1 was being debated, which it wasn't).
