1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I have tried to convince myself that I don't need much sleep and I can merely "take it easy" to get all of the rest that I need, but alas apparently binge watching Netflix is too strenuous on the body.

Now that you've (presumably) had another night's sleep, were you able to check on the cats? Even dreamland cats probably need food and water more than once a month.

My company stocks chobani Greek yogurt as one of the many foodstuffs they provide and they're all out of the strawberry banana flavor!

I guess I'll settle for peach.

Are you going to eat it while flopped out in a beanbag chair?

Some rando just said "how's it going?" to me at the bathroom sink. Who does that?

Close! But not quite. I'm reclined all the way back on my chair with my feet kicked up on my desk.

Why is it that all the positions most bad for your posture always so comfortable?

Interviewing. I'm tired of the "you have everything we want, but we want someone with more experience."

The part of the sentence after the comma seems like it's at odds with the part before the comma.

I know. They start with how I have all the skills they are looking for, an impressive resume, etc. Then they say they want more experience. One interviewer told me he couldn't hire me because I don't have any grey hair. =(

Okay so I have been reading a lot today to where just a few minutes ago I heard a sound turns out it was my eyes talking to me. They said "My eyes are getting tired hard to read, man!" And I said "wait a minute, you are my eyes talking to me. You have eyes?" And they're like "Of course we have eyes you idiot, how do you think we see?"

I really can't stand metaphors that work themselves into jargon like "baked in" when talking about software.

Would you say that those metaphors get "baked in" to everyday usage?
