1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    That gets me too.

You could say: "You dropped something" just for them to lose their sweeping momentum, stopping and looking back.

I'd been averaging 10 km of walking like every day for the last week, yesterday walked 29.

Legs are fucking killing me. no willpower to leave the apartment today but I REALLY want to go fishing, haven't been in four days.

It makes sense in your case...

    Accessibility, affordability and entertainment value...

entertainment value is an understatement. I have a tendency to fall in the water, which up here is pretty cold. My friends think it's hilarious (a lot of people fish for food here, especially young people with shitty jobs).

It is hard to do a key change in a rock or pop song without producing effect of corny. There are songs I enjoy a lot, but then I cringe when they get to the key change that is supposed to "ramp things up."

My job requires me to occasionally work with people who do the same sort of job I used to do, and who, by virtue of the structure of the organization (not seniority, as they're technically below me on the org chart), can exercise a modicum of control over certain parts of my work. This is fine when it functions properly, but it's infuriating when they suck at their job and I'm held up by their incompetence. It's even more frustrating because I know exactly how they're screwing up but can't correct them because it's not my role.

I was walking down the sidewalk, and some idiot was focusing on their cell phone and was walking on the wrong side while weaving all over the place. I slow way down, and this idiot just crashes right into me. I probably have 100 lbs on her, so she basically bounces off and drops her phone.

She glares at me, apparently waits for me to apologize, then says "EXCUSE YOU" and snatches up her phone. I'm just dumbstruck. She glares some more, mutters about my striking similarity to a rectal orifice, then stalks off.
