1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

People who feel like they need to offer unsolicited input in this fashion are beyond annoying. Worst part is that anything you say in your own defense seems like an attempt at furthering the one-upmanship of the offender.

Not nearly as offensive, but equally annoying are the clothing related yesteryear story tellers, nope….i don't need to know about the knit tie you owned in 1960 and how mine "is the same one".

It is odd, but a lot of older people tell me "I used to dress like you" as if that elevates them in my mind at all in terms of their sartorial prowess. My only response to that is, "Well you don't anymore".

Why are all hotel beds so fucking soft. Looks like I'm sleeping on the floor for the next few days.

Soft beds kill my back. The couch is firm enough though so... yay?

As of late I've been posting my best work over at erictheobscure's Facebook page just "knocking it out of the park of home run."

Also, I hope you've all been enjoying my recent "Warhol Series" of posts. They are tributes to various posters of Styleforum so far there have been three.

I was just on a date with a beautiful woman who "models" on the Internet by wearing swimsuits and making sultry poses. Things were going really well until I checked my smart phone and noticed that someone had made a post on Facebook doubting the veracity of faith ways. That burned me up so much on the inside (anger) that I forgot how to flirt with a woman messed up my lines and lost my opportunity to make love. Seems like I can't catch a break in the Romance Department.

few years ago, for reasons that I forgot, I had to sleep on the floor for a couple of nights. downsides are its damn cold and it hurts if you're a "toss and turn" kind of sleeper. upside was my back hasn't felt better than that before. (I sleep on a bed now, fyi, with memory foam)

I have slept on the floor for years. Just recently, though, I bought an air mattress on account of I thought I was going to have a house guest, and so I've been sleeping on it as of late. I hope I don't come off sounding is if I've lost my mind rays, but I think I was actually more comfortable sleeping on the floor.

    My current options:

1.) Find a new apartment by August 1st; or
2.) Move in with mumsy and father for a few months and save some ducats.

Neither are ideal. I was going to say I'll feel like a loser if I move in with my parents, but my loserdom is already well established. :fu:
