1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Not that any of you are familiar with Edina, but I always felt like like it was one of places that seems perfectly fine for adults but that totally ruins children and turns them into spoiled little shits.

in college the intramural games were always taken way too seriously - softball was a round robin format and sometimes the finals were a "twice to beat" if one team was undefeated in the round robin stage. it was always such a pain to explain to my teammates what that meant.

also even in the NFL there's the wildcard which can theoretically let teams with .500 records or even fucking losing records into the playoffs.

another thing that pisses me off about soccer complaints from Merican' fans is the lack of scoring. So if there's a 2-1 game its really boring. There are 14-7 games all the time in football. thats three total touchdowns (scores) for 60min of play. Baseball has 3-1 final scores or 2-0 final scores all the fucking time. Hockey still even has ties and 1-0 games all the time.

there is plenty of flopping in the NFL... its been used to perfection to allow the defense to rest when the offense is trying no huddle. wide receivers and QBs always flop and embellish to draw penalties.

On September 19, 2011 the New York Giants did this to the St. Louis Rams on MNF (Monday Night Football). The Rams probably would have won if the Giants had not pulled such shenanigans.

The 0-0 Brazil v Mexico draw was very exciting
The 1-0 win of Germany v USA was also exciting
The 2-2 draw USA v Portugal was heart pounding

    Yeah but the diving sucks

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the closest our fair Edina will ever come to being in a woman's mouth!

I can't enjoy the songs of Bob Dylan on account of there is a lady I used to date who loved Bob Dylan. She was unpleasant in many ways, to where I can't help associating Bob Dylan with her. (Can probably make exceptions for "Lay Lady Lay" and "Maggie's Farm" though.)

"Things Have Changed" remains a good late-period Dylan tune, in spite of its associations with formerly associated, deeply obsessed ladies. The phrase 'whiny cunt' keeps leaping to mind.

This morning I had one of those feelings of pent up aggression and the heaviest thing I had to listen to was Tool. I need to rediscover some of the metal of my youth.

I was thinking more along the lines of Dark Tranquility and Opeth.

I've had to take a dump for the past hour and every single time I go to our men's bathroom, all the shit stalls are occupied.

This has happened over 3 trips.

    WTF.

is today shit fest Friday or sth? Goddammit!

Can't wait to sit on a warmed up toilet when I finally make it in. Ugh.

Edit: make that 4 trips now. Unbelievable.

Daniel Paul Schreber. His bodily functions were miraculated by God's rays.

I just left a butt baby in the courthouse bathroom, third floor. It was like giving birth. I lost 10 pounds.
