1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Next up for the axe: wooden spoons. That way they can kill an essential cooking implement and a hallowed academic tradition in one fell swoop.

    Thumbs to kindofyoung.

'Burn it with fire'. As opposed to what?
    Burning me with marshmallows?

I don't particularly want to burn either.

If I was to be killed, I'd rather blow up.

38R, are you listening to this?

    Why homophobic????

If someone looks ridiculous , it has nothing to do with his sexual orientation..

People have the right to wear what they want but people have also the right to think whatever they decide to about it..

Delta ruined a wheel of my suitcase but airport staff says they won't cover it. I know that all I have to do to get it repaired is ask a customer service rep in Atlanta but its a bit annoying especially because I am traveling for 2 weeks

The day I wear Capri pants is the day I slit my own throat.

WOW!!! [IMG] I meant the fit, and would never wish harm on anyone for no reason, especially on their dress style. taking a critique in that context is more than a little overboard.

FYI - I don't consider "Hipster" fashions to exhibit masculinity. or an individual sense of style. when you follow? it's a uniform, not an individual style choice. I have never approved of "Skinny" anything, and Capri's???? [IMG]

one of my above quoted comments was totally un-related to your fit, as it was related to a discussion with a member i am on very good terms with.
Same as my post here was related to that discussion.

I am not scared of Gay people (homophobic), a majority of them are the finest people you could meet.
even Gays value the masculine aspect to clothing. insinuating my dislike of men wearing nut-hugging ladies short pants has something to do with one's sexuality is false.

Me? i wear a lot of stuff others would not wear. -Un vented DB suits, jeans with a Bowler hat, Brioni suit with Chuck Taylor's. etc. you wouldn't like it. and would comment same as others looking at my fits. but in real life? it works for me, perhaps your fit works for you. disapproving of a style on a site called "Styleforum" is not unusual.

My Avatar is a fit pic, do you think Capri's would look better? maybe you would. your opinion is as valid as mine.

OK. I'm nipping this in the bud before it gets even more stupid. Enough of the drama. No one wants to read the details of your slap fight. Let it go or take it elsewhere.

Also, if your intent is to establish something like the fact that you're not a homophobe, it's probably not wise to do things like try to parse out the most literal definition of the term, or to refer to "gay people" as some sort of monolithic group whose members all share the same opinion.

Just know that people with broken wheels are hilarious for the rest of us. Watching privates drag tough boxes across the desert with a broken wheel is a joy to see.

I think we've all been there. I don't care how thin they make them, "it feels the same" is a buncha bullshit.
