They are now calling for a 100% chance of snow in Lake Placid this weekend. Sweet memorial day trip, yall.

I foresee lots of sitting in the hotel drinking wine.

If your suite and the public spaces in the hotel have nice fireplaces it won't be all bad. I love sitting in front of a fireplace and sipping wine.

If it were happening to someone else, I'd probably lol too. This weather is pretty comically bad. I mean... Come on.

I know our suite has a gas fireplace. I'm hoping the public spaces have a wood-burning fireplace. If so, we will probably make a wine run and then not leave the hotel for the rest of the trip.

Yo, G, just cheer up that I won't be in the state for the next seven days, and then we'll have a whole weekend with my, you and nerdykarim gripping those shafts and driving those balls to the holes.

Not holding my breath on that, Ed. You keep threatening to make a plan to hang out, but it has yet to happen.

The workers won't be gone until about 2pm. Cannot start my holiday drank until later than I planned.

There's something hilarious about complaining about rain when you're vacationing at a water park.

It's an exaggeration to say this pisses me off, but my reaction is somewhere between exasperation and amusement.

Someone posts a question on the internet (styleforum, ask.com, whatever) along the lines of:

"Does anybody know how to adjust the default such-and-such settings on a Toshiba blahblahblah?"

And some random person posts a response: "I have no idea, sorry. Wish I could help."

Got to the gym at 5:40 instead of when they open the doors at 5:30 and this woman had parked in one of the 2 squat racks. Third time in 2 weeks this has happened. She occupies the rack the entire time I'm at the gym, draping her things around it and refusing to work in with someone. On Monday I had to use the bad rack and managed to go through 5 sets of squats to her one set of arm curls (the rest of her time was spent socializing).

The problem is that she will technically work in with people, she'll just mess around before and after each set for so long with faux stretching and getting her head ready that it would take entirely too long to share with her. I did attempt this last week when she was out chit-chatting and she immediately comes over and starts this nonsense after my set.
