1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

No, fuck you, Birdman. As a lawyer I'd suspect you to demand more.

A coworker asked if I use Trunk Club. I punched him in the peehole.

Relative to effort I am vastly overpaid, but I'm good at what I do so fuck it.

My work hard drive is failing...but apparently whatever software IT uses to clone drives won't clone drives with bad sectors. So instead they have to set me up from a blank slate. Obviously my files will get moved over...but I will have to redo my entire setttings for every piece of software...

And I have a bunch of random pieces of software with a bunch of random settings (that I am fairly particular about).

GRRR! this is going to be especially annoying with various programming environments where scripts are expecting certain modules to be installed.

Somehow 3 people managed to get themselves hit by a train which delayed me by HALF AN HOUR! The fucking nerve.

How do 3 people get hit by a train?

    That's just...:uhoh:

Reminds me of the woman who was killed in south Georgia recently while working on a movie. They'd set up a scene on live tracks, on a trestle no less. When the train came they all started running, but she was knocked in front of the train by debris from the train hitting the props they'd put on the tracks.

Whew. I almost had a sad.

I hope things come around for you soon.

Do you all think that "stirring" is a true act, or is it an illusion of deception? Everybody be like "Must needs stir the ingredients lest the meal come out bemangled" and I'm like c'mon, gimme a break.
