thanks guys

That sucks, acid. The bickering surrounding death can be horrible. We went through something similar a couple of years ago when my grandmother died. I just wanted to tell everyone to STFU with their drama and remember why we were all there.

I hope it doesn't get too bad for your family.

this side of the family is the black hole of dysfunction. few years back an uncle of mine passed away and there was a shouting match at the wake. it gets so bad I don't even bother telling my friends about deaths in the family, and those who know and wants to pay their respect I tell them not to bother. oh, and wednesday night, after I left the hospital, I believe they made a commotion- arguing and shouting right by my grandmother's beside. damn this family to hell indeed.

A family member is attempting to blackmail me, over what i don't know. I don't understand how people who see you less than 10 times a year cant maintain a decent relationship at least just for appearances. I'm really beginning to believe that some people just enjoy drama. I try to weed out the negative people in my life, but with having a relatively small family its tough to do that with out just cutting everyone off

so what did you do for him to think about blackmailing you? and have you considered getting outside help to uhm, "convince" him to keep his mouth shut for the sake of his kneecaps or something?

he is actually having a tooth removed, and i think 2 others filled. ill pass on the video. toothbrushing is now in my job description as my wife has a harder time fighting with him to do it. she is too nice.

at one point i actually told him that he would not be allowed any treats anymore if he would not brush. he said, fine. i lol'ed and backpedaled, was not expecting him to say that. it took a few more tactics but i think we have it down now.

I showed the girls pics of crack heads with disgusting teeth and told them this is what happens when you don't take of your teeth... seems to work for now.

I've got to quit dipping. I dip like 12-16 hours a day. My gums have started to bleed. So I'm smoking a but to curb the urge. Today will be my first day with neither.

This is my second Friday in a row in upstate NY. I had to drive to Syracuse this morning. I slept 4 hours last night and am hungover. I'll spend at least 8 hours in the car during a 14 hour day.

FU Harvard. It's not enough that your graduates run the world, now you have to ruin my bracket too?

I used to dip in college (not every day but more of a thing I did before drinking or while pregaming). Loved it but quit it after college. The tingling sensation they give on your gums started to freak me out. It's also a gross habit.

my son has a bunch of cavities and getting him to properly brush his teeth is almost impossible. he has been doing so up until now without toothpaste, and tonight a new toothpaste regime has begun. no fun.

:fu:

Try that children's mouth wash that highlights plaque after brushing, we used that and a egg timer which worked to some degree.

if i can get him to use the mouthwash, that sounds like a cool idea. first i need to just get him used to the toothpaste.

i told him, "look, im gonna brush, and count to ten, four times, and we will be done." he said, "why dont you just count to 40?" i said, "because its easier this way, it seems quicker." he gave me a look like, your a moron dad, but he agreed to try, and we were done in 3 reps. once he gets used to it, i think ill take your idea to action. thanks.
