1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Not that I don't like it, just not that interesting unless you created the idea / product. I wouldn't mind it just need to find a good fit

This is my first so I'm a little surprised considering the rest is almost black. I'm pretty excited about the whole thing though.

Fit is the key. The products / services you manage are a function of the company's mission statement and management's directives, so, again, fit is key. You have to find a company whose products and services you believe are valuable and align with your interests.

Suddenly got addicted to Butterfingers again. I've consumed 12 bars and 2 packs of the fun-sized Butterfingers since Friday.

Interesting that they picked REI as the maker of the backpack. I would have gone with something that's not a consumer cooperative...

The term "colorway". If you're just talking about a color, call it a color; it doesn't need a gussied-up marketing term. I actually thought the word was a recent invention, but I looked it up, and it's been around since the 1950s. It is not meant as a synonym for color, however. Rather, it refers to one of the particular combinations of colors in which an item is available. If that really cool RRL jacket is available in indigo and in charcoal, it is available in two colors, not two "colorways". If the jacket comes in navy with brown trim, and in charcoal with navy trim, it comes in two colorways.

I dunno. That was just bugging me. Carry on.

NBC's cheap, grossly truncated plastic Olympic fanfare opening. Sterile. But hey, they can sell another 60 seconds of ads.

    Compare that to this:

Some fuckers broke into our apartment. Came home to the place ransacked.

Luckily, they clearly don't have good taste in clothing because its all still there.

Actually they didn't take much besides a change jar and an old broken watch. Computers, laptops, cameras... All still there.
