I do this for boxes, mostly because I don't bother breaking them down and it easily overstuffs the paper recycling box. I don't want the super to know who the asshole was and then to not bother when I have a water problem or something.

My building pays some guy to take care of the garbage and such and we get emails from angry tenants in the building about how we all need to break down and tie up all of our cardboard. Fuck that, if I have to do that, fire that guy who we are paying to do it. There service costs the building like $20,000 a year.

yeah, fuck that. I'm pretty sure my building's super is an "undocumented worker" to the fullest extent. I ran into him the other day and he doesn't speak a lick of english beyond "ok". Thankfully, he understood my spanish and got me the lightbulb I needed.

Individually they are but when considered in the totality of her personality it is acceptable. Fires start with kindling.

You think all of those entitlement issues and control issues will go away once you get married? That shit will not be so cute 5 or 10 years from now.

TO join RedLantern, the wedding planning stages are starting and it is definitely stressful. Fiancée is getting stressed out about it, but it's only about once a week she has one of those overwhelming days and I need to talk her down a little bit. We are set to sign a contract for a venue this week which should alleviate most of it since we will have a solid date/time taken care of.

I do not miss wedding planning.

My wife did pretty well with it, but there were definitely days where you had to just talk her down cause she was about to pull her hair out.

Never been married, but I don't see why people spend so much money and time on it. If you're going into debt or reaching heavily into savings for a wedding there's something wrong. I especially don't understand how otherwise business-savvy people get dragged into the hokum and graft of it all.

I'm wearing a Cappelli tie for the 2nd time today.

1st time I spilled lobster bisque on it. Today I spilled pho on it.

The universe does not want me to have this tie, apparently.

i agree on the debt part.

business-savvy people become associated with the US wedding industry since they realize they can take and otherwise basic service, re-brand it for weddings, and then charge 4X the price.
