They say you've truly reached adulthood when the news of a massive snowstorm pisses you off more than it makes you happy.

I remember classes being cancelled in college once due to the snow -- what a glorious day .

I am not allowed to pick up job candidates or invited speakers at the airport or drive them to dinner because apparently my car would present the department in a bad light. I learned this today.

    Hey I got one:

How about getting a divorce, paying that 'female' off and then seeing her in a nice new car. Happened earlier. Life is good when its not your money.

Really shite job search pages are really pissing me off. You have companies like Intel and Amazon trotting out garbage like this:

It's so archaic and inefficient. Every single start up I have applied to has a career page 100x better than this. It's really mind boggling that a company with such massive amounts of resources (like Intel or Amazon) can't put together something better than this. How many software engineers do they have on staff? For gods sakes, they could pay me for two weeks work and I would upgrade this.

I'm sure it is because they are a large company and have tried to move to some preexisting HR software that integrates with all of their existing Oracle/SAP/whatever stuff. It is easy to make a flashy careers page when you have <150 employees and no infrastructure to tie it in to. It's still shitty...but now you know why and who to blame.

Was she in a bimmer? Do you live where it snows a lot?

If yes to both counts, track that biotch down in your Audi and blow past her with your superior AWD capabilities. Proceed to get in front of her car and plow snow on her with your rear tires -- trap her car in the snow.

Laugh maniacally and drive off cause, biatch, you just showed her (your superior AWD capabilities)!
