Beer is forbidden as it comes from grain. Same goes for any other grain made alcohol.
Tequila is a grey zone as it is made from Agave.
If we decide to drink it's best done in the A.M.

Then again, what diet out there tells you to drink any alcohol?

I do my best to avoid diets that were the (forced) norm during an era of human history where guys in their 30s were considered senior citizens.

Besides, the vast majority of liquors come from grain. Even things like gin are usually grain alcohol with herbal flavorings.

Obvious exceptions would be brandies, 100% agave tequila, and potato vodka.

Mine. Low carb except for yams and cereal on workout days and a drink a night.

Floatjackings? Why? (Now you see why I don't visit B'more anymore.)

Stitch, I hope the traffic is back to normal by the time you're ready to head home. Stay safe.

Actually not true. They lived into their 70's and 80's as well are lucky to. If they died it was usually because of infected wounds. The elderly were provided for by the young people who could hunt.

Common misconception that they lived short brutish lives.
The elderly were also still very able bodied, unlike today's American elder with their oxygen tanks and what-not.

Indeed, most people forget the meaning of the words "average life expectancy" - if you have 5 children that die before aged 2 years, that 6th one is going to have to live a buttload to make the "average" 25 years.

I was exaggerating a bit for the sake of my joke, and I understand how infant mortality (and surviving childhood) impacts life expectancy statistics. However, it was not the norm during the Paleolithic for humans to live to be 70-80 years old; that's nonsense. Did some of them live that long? I'm sure they did, just like some people live to be 100+ nowadays. However, "elderly" during that period still came decades earlier than it does now.

Plus, they didn't have whiskey. Eff that noise.

By "lose" you mean "have to get off the computer" because you never actually work in the first place, right?
