we use this. it is awesome. no sharp edges !
yeah.. that and opening a bottle of soda or beer with yer teeth. ghetto!!
I'm sure, otherwise you're going to destroy the edge on your good knife.
You can also open a can pretty easily by rubbing the top on concrete until the raised "lip" wears off. Then it's very simple to get open with just about any tool. Y'know, just in case.
apparently because its snowing out dog owners think snow + salt = license to leave dog poo on the street/where ever.
That and dog parks, disgusting.
Apparently it's don't pick up your phone and don't call back month.
I fucking hate subcontractors.
I have had crown work and cavities drilled without any Novocain at all. I hate dealing with the numbness. I tell him, just hurry up and get it done.
Well, we are all basically bureaucrats in the sense that most of us hold desk jobs.
Can you give me some insight into your avatar?
Or, you could only eat fresh vegetables. Cans are for plebs. /caltex
With you on this one. Hate that numb face feeling. Not too bad, really--makes it easy for them to know when they get to live tooth!
lolwat? but srsly, i think the only cans we have are tuna, baked beans, olives, and maybe corn. idrk, but definitely not regular vegetables.
There's not much they can give to prevent colds and stomach bugs.
Thanks, guys. The wife felt pretty awful all day yesterday, but I'm feeling fine as of the moment and I haven't gotten any "my tummy hurts" from the little man, so I'm hopeful we're going to avoid it. I suppose we'll know in a day or two. Also, it turns out that one of MrsG's friends was up all night Sunday sick, which is a pretty amazing coincidence given they had lunch together over the weekend, and it's the only meal MrsG didn't eat with the family all weekend. Fortunately, MrsG didn't actually end up getting sick, despite feeling like hell all day yesterday. I'm hoping this will help protect the little man and me from sharing in her misery. Speaking of the little man, he seems to be doing alright. I think his gunkiness is/was just leftover from the cold he had last week, but we'll see.
I've been reading a lot about the nasty norovirus strain that's been going around, and, with a little one in daycare, I've pretty much assumed it will hit my house at some point this year. Still, I really really don't want it to be this week. I'd even take being sick on the weekend if I can just get through Friday feeling healthy.
I saw your post on FB, and I was wondering how you all were doing. Whatever LowerCaseG had got to him, too, and he's like your little one - illnesses don't really bother him.
I hope you and the wife manage to beat back the illness!
Oof. That's horrible. Sorry to hear it.
Haha. I actually considered making this joke to MrsG. I did not think it would go over well, so I refrained.
Thanks G, actually looks like we may have dodged a bullet. Little girl was dancing by last night and seemed to be back to 100%, more or less. My sniffle has subsided. Everyone is back to school and work today, so I'm hoping we've moved beyond it.
glad everyone is on the up and up.
this stupid suberbowl parade has made a mess of traffic downtown, and my wifes job had to cancel because some of the parties could not make it to the office. parade may have just cost me a significant amount of money.
What, like, there's some deal that must be done today that can't be done tomorrow?
