I'm not a fran of the venues that get picked for my CEUs but I am a fran of drinking a lot during those conferences.

I think I need a new dentist.

I just spent 40 minutes sitting in the chair before they actually got to work. it doesn't take 40 minutes to apply the topical, inject the novocaine, and let it kick in. I think the dentist wasn't back from lunch yet, and then had other stuff to deal with between the novocaine and the actual drilling.
Then they had to stop several times and sit me back up while they went to go hunt for a necessary tool (they are remodeling, but the actual patient area hasn't been touched yet so I don't think that is a valid excuse).

Took over 2 hours in the chair for 2 adjacent fillings. Also, I am new to this guy (my dentist moved away and he is the new replacement) and I can't decide if I actually like him. He seems kind of rough (I expect me teeth to hurt when the novocaine wears off) and why am I trekking all of the way to the other side of town to go to a dentist I don't even like. There are probably 50 mediocre dentists that are between my home and office.
