someone at work is sick and in a very pissy mood. its annoying me. he really should go home.
as long as you complain directly and let the neighbors really know that its affecting your sleep then its their problem after you've made the formal face to face. from there you can go directly to the police and landlord.
my neighbors have this safety thing for their staircase. it makes a loud annoying sound when they have to slide it open/closed whenever they go up/down staircase. the annoying sound echoes through their wall into our master bedroom. my wife and I made the mistake of just tolerating it for years (because we're of the "silent race"). Then one Saturday night we watched a boxing match and even invited our neighbors (as an obvious way of saying "hey we're going to be loud for 1.5 hours on a Saturday night".
eventually we get a call from the police during the middle of the fight about being loud. my wife with her years of pent up rage marches right over to the neighbors and starts chewing out the neighbor's wife about the years of noise they constantly made throughout the day/night (which included children yelling/spousal screechfests/construction and that annoying safety thing on their staircase).
eventually everything cooled down and we even exchanged phone numbers to text if things are getting loud. but in retrospect it really would've been better to complain about the staircase thing a lot earlier. from there they'd know that their children screeching/husband and wife meltdown yell-fests are easily heard by their neighbors.
hmmm.... we had some absolutely shitty neighbors even sitting between each other in 4 acres of beach front property. Turns out that particular neighbor had legitimate mental health issues, but still it can happen even with huge yards between each other.
Yeah. I'm going to talk with them first before I go to the landlord. I doubt they will change, but all the same, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt.
How do you tell a chick -- in the nicest possible way -- to lose weight?
"You need to lose weight."
GIrls will appreciate your honesty, Neo.
Agreed, but as someone that lived in apartments for 10+ years, things are a whole different level when you're sharing walls, floors, and ceilings.
I wonder if these people have never lived in New York before and aren't used to having people on all sides of them, or if they just don't care. I mean, huge subwoofer? Come on.
I hope these three things aren't related.
Buy her something she's always wanted, two sizes smaller.
It's Friday, and I'm strangely not in a great mood. Despite having pie for breakfast.
God dammit. Now I want pie
well, what kind of pie was it?
I hear nothing from my neighbors. Only if they are in the hall do I hear them.
It was the same cheesecake as yesterday. a soft cheesecake in a pie crust, with strawberries on top and a ring of whipped cream.
Funny, I was all about this yesterday but now it has lost its sparkle.
I didn't until these people moved in. Didn't realize how good we had it...
