1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What, we shouldn't pick on Belgium? Do we really even know Belgium exists? Even if this fabled land of waffles and Congos exists, it would be sitting right by France. For a long time. And we all know what happens when you sit by France for too long - you get gay and smelly, not necessarily in that order. Given Belgium's odor, clearly contagious homosexuality, and traditional status as the welcome for the Germans to scrape off their jackboots on their way to France, I really don't think Belgium or Belgians should be trusted. At all.

I've heard this from several people who were very good students. It's a tough market right now. All the best, and Congrats on graduating.

    yeah, well sort of..

I don't think she did. I think her dad just didn't understand bi-polar disorder and convinced her someone gave her LSD at a party or something.

Regardless, it was strangely enjoyable reading an interview of a perfect stranger.

Arrrgh! I keep biting the inside of my lip in the same place accidentally. It started harmlessly enough when I was eating a sandwich the other day... and I guess it swelled a bit... because goddammit I keep biting it. Just ate a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats and bit the damn thing again. AAAAAGH! It hurts like a beeeeeeeeeeeitch.

It's more suicidal than homicidal. I think they have the highest per capita rate of motor vehicle related deaths of all developed countries. I don't believe anyone in the world is in a greater hurry than an Israeli driver behind you at a stoplight. The honking starts as soon as the other light turns yellow and if you're not in second gear by the time it's red you're in for it.

This sounds very similar to Miami.

Fucking AT&T. They sent me a refurbished modem for the new DSL service. Now I don't have a problem with this, but I think a new customer could at least get a NEW modem. So I call them up and ask if they'll send over a brand new modem. "Sure, we've got no problem with that, but we can't tell the distribution warehouse what to do." So I ask them if it's possible that it could be notated in the order to send me a new modem. "Sure, we can do that." What arrives via UPS today? A refurbished modem. [IMG]
