1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

my dog puked on the couch.

the puke seeped in between the cushions and into the fabric and frame below. I tried, in vain, to clean it, and fuck, it wasn't even that much vomit, but I ended up calling the furniture store I got it from and ordering another. Luckily they had the same model in stock, the store is only a mile away, and one of the guys who work there is my neighbor so theres a delivery van on the way with the replacement. jesus that was an expensive party foul.

When I clicked on the Spoiler I was hoping to see a picture of the puke.

My friend's (Designated Driver of the night) recap of last Saturday: I had about 8 bottles of Corona and then started downing shots of vodka. It would have been fine if it was a Guys Night Out, however, I was on a date. I didn't remember her name, what I said, and...well pretty much everything from that night. I don't know if I'll see her again...she was very cute. [IMG]

My idiot upstairs neighbour likes to clap me thinks.

He claps once-three times waits 30-60 minutes and does it again over and over and over again every night.

    Why I ask, why!

If he doesn't stop he's going to have a clap activated face.

Who turns on a lamp 5 times a night every night?

Somebody who has a lamp in a study/closet/library where they only go into the room to get things and thus don't leave the light on?

Maybe they have it on a clapper so they can go into the room and flip a switch, but then their hands are full with whatever they are carrying so they can't get to the switch. With the clapper, they can bring the stuff to the other room and just clap a few times instead of walking back.

    Finn: OCD perhaps?

I think I'm going to sell my stark. The color doesn't actually work with anything I own, I should have got the dark red or navy. I also never wear the damned thing, and it's kinda stupid to own shit I don't use. Other than going to dinner with my best friend at the snobbiest restaurant in Reykjavik in August, and a lecture I gave last week, I've not worn my (one remaining pair) of trousers, an OCBD except with jeans, or my brogues more than three times since leaving the US 16 months ago. I bought the stark in March and have worn it maybe 4 times. :/

I have no idea, I know nothing about him other than he seems like a dickhead, he doesn't say hello when you meet him in building etc.
