what i dont get about that, is that parallel parking is easy. i dont get why people have to destroy their cars and others, when doing so. asshoals.

Some if not most people lack spacial awareness and/or don't give a fuck about other people's property.

Manager of new project: "Hey, so.. yeah, I don't want us to lose time working on this project by having you fly home on Thursdays or early afternoon Fridays... can you plan to fly out after work on Fridays from now on?"
    Me: "Sure, of course!"

Yeah, just go ahead and tell me to get back home at midnight on Fridays so I can spend two days there and fly back in on Mondays.

Oh, and he just got promoted to the managerial role. That probably explains why he's so eager to overwork us for his benefit. Fucker.

Um. Remember certain genders and certain races have some.....difficulties....with parallel parking. Nyc can be described as a pot with many raycess melting each other like fondue
So thou without parallel parking sin may cast thy first adequate park but the evil and ignorant live amongst us....

Looks like someone's bringing a kid to the meetup.

    ...

Brussel sprouts. Wife's growing them, and other cruciferous vegetables in her garden as of late, and she harvested them recently. That means she cooked them last night. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but because she's on some vegan no-fat no-oil diet for this month, it means that she didn't cook them in any manner I'd find appealing (That is, with bacon). Just steamed plain brussel sprouts. Plus some fish, and couscous. It took me a couple of beers to get through that dinner.

I was driving in New York City recently in a rented car for a project I was working on. I was amazed how well I was about to parallel park. The last time I did it was at my driver's test.

I had fish, she didn't. I forget what else was on her plate, I was so traumatized by those green things.

Even in my old full-sized, extended-cab pickup, I was able to parallel park, so I've never understood why it's so tough for people. The biggest problem I encounter with PP where I live is the fact that people don't seem to understand that you have to pull beyond the space and back in. This often results in a situation where I'll put on my blinker, pass the spot, put it in reverse, and then sit and wait while the idiot behind me tries to sort out their profound confusion.

Oh, yeah, outside of Cuba, there's no better place for Cuban food than Florida. I don't even bother trying to find it anywhere else; I just wait until we make our twice/thrice-annual Florida visit and make sure I grab some then.
