Disney, Universal, etc are huge enablers in that they make it really easy for obese people to get around in their parks, put them as a priority, etc. You can't really blame them because they're following the law to its letter, but then all the morbidly obese people flock to Orlando. They ain't hiking up no fucking machu picchu

I would never visit Disney. Let the fatties congregate there for all I care.

I used to have that. I unscrewed the bulbs above my desk. Every now and again some facilities person would go to replace them and I would yell at them to leave them alone.

I was at Disney once ever and it was when I was fat. Go figure. I hated it FWIW. Too disgustingly hot and humid.

    You were fat?

Like fat Albert fat or just a little overweight?

Congrats on the weight loss. I'm having a hard time modifying my diet to get my abs back, I couldn't imaging the commitment it would take to lose serious weight.

I really wish I could do that. These are far out of reach though.

Just shelled out $88 for a glare filter. :fu: If it works, though, it's well worth it.

thats why seeing all the morbidly obese in central florida was so jarring for me.

we drove straight from Vero Beach to Key West. When we got to key west I was embarrassed because I was just lounging around at the beach, eating, and dog park, but everyone (especially the natives) seemed to be so active biking, running, watersports, and playing tennis (there are weirdly numerous amount of tennis courts in Key West). Hell they even have bocci courts set up and the young and old were playing throughout the day.

when we hit orlando it was depressing to be in a place that basically shuts down at 9pm. i guess everyone just has house parties there and drinks at parties and at home to have fun. then there was experience seeing all the morbidly obese in Sea World. :(

I thought I was over riding on roller coasters too...

but I rode the two big ones at sea world (kraken and Manta) which were surprisingly scary/entertaining. when I was standing in line for the Manta I opted to go to the single rider line (which moves faster) and started talking with this 5'9" hottie  in yoga pants and a tight tank top. it started to get flirty :nodding: :smarmy:

then she mentioned that she's nervous for her upcoming PSATs.... :fu: :uhoh:

Well, the lights over my desk were the long tube florescent ones. It was annoying to twist out.

yes, lol, I meant we gave up strollers click and go's etc. but the kids bike.

btw, one of the things that really made me happy after disney my kids said at the end "this was fun, but we'd rather travel to a foreign country" - we went to thailand and sing last winter, so they decided that they don't need to do disney again, that we should focus on foreign travel, which works for me.
