Brutal. The idea of them taking prints makes me shake my head. Worst part is that amazing Brioni lamb skinned jacket you forgot in the car....:lookaround:

Any recs on a third-party manager? I love my iPod, but iTunes? Not so much.

Funny, MrsG and I have a similar story, though our reunion predates Facebook by about five years, give or take.

As the cop arrived to take prints, some random dude walked by me. He goes, "yours got broken into too?" as he walked to his GTR.

    Fucking enraging.

That would certainly explain the stories I've heard about your driving. It seems you should have been spending more time learning the rules of the road and less time trying to figure to how to outkick your coverage.

Yeesh, sorry to hear about the car Froggy. Hopefully your deductible isn't too high.

that is certainly a plausible explanation.

Unfortunately, that sounds like a cash expense to me (unless your insurance company won't bump rates for something like this). Unless your deductible is silly-small, I can't imagine it being worth it...unless BMW replacement glass really is that much more expensive than every other car.

    :( sucks

My deductible is $500 and the dealership quoted me roughly $900 (up to $1200 if the regulator needs to be replaced as well).

Called an independent service shop that specializes in German cars and they quoted me $380 for the window, $530 for the window and regulator.

    Stealerships..

Damn. Sorry to hear that. There are some really f'd up people out there.

A few years ago a guy nicked my parent's car door and I told him to be careful. He looked at me unpleasantly, but I didn't think much of it. An hour later, I came back to find that "someone" had keyed the driver's side door on our car. I was so furious. I wanted to kick this dude in the head because of I thought he was such a pussy for scratching our door. Jeez. I hope he's had terrible luck since then.

About to have a two days meeting at work once I get back from my usual road stint. Not looking forward to it at all, because absolutely nothing of value will be covered.

Also I'm going through my monthly restless phase and I'm ready to pick up and move across the world.

This is a "you're drunk" scenario? GF, you're ever so cute sometimes. :inlove:

Edit: Damn, GF, posted this before I saw your woes. That sucks. I think property crime is not punished sufficiently enough.
