Both. My beaters are a pair of Ferragamo monks--single. Those are my airport shoes too, because they are so easy to take off. But I really love double monks. (I only have one pair of double monks, though: AE Mora.)

I'm a big fan of double monks --- they're the only type of shoes I've both lately.

I don't remember exactly when it was that I first saw a pair of double monks. But I know it was love at first sight.

I remember partying in Deep Ellum about 14 years ago. There on a business trip due to corporate buy out. Great time.

    Random though Frog triggered.

Btw, Frog, what were you planning to do with your keys in your knuckles? Fight off 10 guys Chuck Norris style?

My fucking ex wife asks me to come to her house to hang out with our daughter while she goes to a party this evening. Nice guy that I am, I do it because I like spending time with my daughter when it isn't my week with her. While we're watching a movie together, my daughter starts complaining about her throat being so sore that she can hardly swallow and having a bad headache all day. Sounds like the familiar symptoms of strep throat I think to myself. I eventually put my daughter to bed, and wait for her mom to get home. When she returns (later than she said she would), I tell her that E is complaining about her throat, to which she replies, "yeah, I am going to take her to the clinic tomorrow". The fuck? She knew she was sick, and didn't tell me so I would come over so she could go to the party. Just so happens, I ate the last bit of E's dinner that she didn't finish. I'll be right pissed if I wake up feeling sick tomorrow.

    tl;dr :fu:

And :fu: to being so OCD about refinishing a table. I'm never completely happy with the "final coat". The current one has bits of lint stuck in it.

Dear god no. Thanks, stitches. If anything, times like this remind me that I made the right decision five years ago :nodding:

They're AE Presidios. AFAIK, they are a discontinued model but you can still find them in odd shops here and there. I bought mine at a shoe store in NYC about a year ago.

They are also made from a narrower last, so make sure to try on a half-size larger for good measure.
