1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I prefer law, I'm definitely the sage on a stage at trial. Fucking juries don't talk back to me, just listen up.

The safety briefings on airplanes are way too long. I mean, the FA is a regular sage on a stage up there at the front of the plane

She should at least ask you for your opinion on the safety instructions. How do you feel about them? Did you grow as a person from hearing them? Did you advance in your spirit quest?

Don't planes have closets for suit bags?

Also pretty sick today. Fever, chills, body ache, headache, joint pain, super fatigued, extremely irritable, constant coughing. I feel like I'm wading through water whenever I move. I feel like being a dick to everyone

LOL at y'all complaining 'bout cattle class...

just kidding. I don't do biz class and y'all haven't lived life till you do a transpacific flight in an azn based airliner

not really sure 'bout furriners, but I think you can- given that the bigger traders here are foreign.... how's investing here? hmmm... pretty good I would say, though the 2nd half of this year was pretty bad and all the gains I got the first half was wiped out. regarding the conglomerates, a more simplistic view I have of investing here is all of these conglomerates are family owned, so if you do take a look and are starting to do research, I'd say pick on the family you think has the best potential.

    get well, M!

Smaller planes often don't and larger ones do for first class only. I was on a smaller plane that didn't have a first class section.

Thanks acid. I've got a biz partner who's from down there who's been making a killing on the stock market (although he gave a lot of it back with the peso devaluation). Ima ask him for advice

HKG to ORD in a middle seat. Done and done. :slayer:

Taking one of longest commercial flights available and not even getting an economy plus or whatever bullshit they call those first five rows of seats. Oh well, at least it is a window. And should take me up to a higher status, which still doesn't get me shit.

Two of the yogurts I bought were full fat. Holy hell are they better tasting but damn they're fatty.

    It is too cold already.

I've had flight attendants take my suit bag and hang it for me a couple times. I dont think it's a first class only kinda thing, I think it's just a function of my policy to always be nice to the people working in places.

Service people also tend to treat you better when you're tall, handsome, well-dressed and most of all, polite.

So far this year, I'm at a 100% success rate with asking for free upgrades at hotels (n = 2 :embar:)

Full fat yogurt is in no way worse for you than "low-fat" yogurt.

the key is to open up a bottle of wine because "fuck it, if i'm going to be doing something miserable I might as well have a glass of wine" and then lament the fact that you had just the right amount to make you tired and indifferent to the cleanliness of your kitchen.

Cleaning the kitchen while drinking wine would ruin my experience of the wine.
