1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I look at my checking account earlier today and noticed gas station and Wendy's charges (like $35 total). I didn't go to either of those places. Open up the wallet and notice that the debit card is missing.

    :fu: :fu: :fu:

I don't know where I left it. Either way it's already canceled and I'm going to protest those charges. Fucking annoying.

Was watching the cooking channel and a new show on food trucks came on.

    Spike Mendelsohn is the host.

If you mean that you were the victim of fraud or some kind of billing error, and the cc company takes the charges off your bill, but still reports it as a derogatory item to the credit bureaus, then they are committing a pretty egregious violation of the law (Fair Credit Reporting Act). The regulatory agencies will come down hard on them if you can prove it

How's investing in the Philippines? Thinking of diversifying a little bit, and the economy seems strong at a casual glance. You guys also have these big conglomerates that suck up all the value and seem to be very stable..are furriners allowed to invest there?

While I love a good burn as much as the next guy, that was poor. You don't notice unusual charges, you notice unusual companies making charges.

So I guess this makes me a tad hypocritical (judging from my SF poast count) but I always get really upset when I can hear either GChat or FB chat notifications from coworkers computers, especially when it is a continual ding throughout the day. Also, when said coworker will also engage in a number of stupid non-work conversations throughout the day as well. I don't really expect of care that employees aren't working for 8 hours straight but come on dude... at least have a little subtlety or occasionally discuss work.

Emos don't exist anymore. They have all turned into hipsters. I believe the next youth subculture coming down the pipe is influenced by Justin Bieber et al.

I think I'm getting sick. Off and on over the weekend, I was feeling a bit run down, so I took it easy yesterday, and was feeling great last night. I figured I was either just tired or had managed to shake something that was trying to get a hold of me. Today, however, I feel like someone has beaten me with a stick. Tired, achy, etc. I was hoping it would go away as the day wore on like it did yesterday, but it doesn't look like that will be the case. I don't feel any better now than I did this morning.

I have a busy week this week, too. The one good thing is that feeling icky has motivated me to double time my work today so I'm not too behind if I do end up sick and missing some time.

And, on that note...back to it!
